I'm looking to buy some vintage clothing but all I have in my local area are charity shops full of tack and stuff old people wear.

Whilst in my local shopping centre the other day I overheard a vacuous conversation being had between two girls standing near me - one of them said to the other "Oh yeah, *man's name* he's got well good style cause he buys only label clothing...".

Being a total vintage clothing junkie who takes a lot of grief from the local chavs and townies for the way I present myself, my opinion is that it doesn't matter about where you obtain your clothes from (it could be vintage clothing shops, ebay, charity shops, high street, label stores), if you aren't a dipsh*t, know how to match styles and colours, have an eye for what looks good and ultimately feel confident with yourself, your style and what you are wearing, then that's what it's all about.

What are people's opinions?

& please no charity shops, i've had a look around some and all they have are nasty clothes!

- clothes similar to topshop ones..

I wish to start selling on vintage clothing. Where can i source large b ulks of this other than charity shops?

Can I get my stock from charity shops and boot fares?

I've looked through all my local charity shops to see if I can find anything and I can't, they are all full of old granny type cast offs. I live in Lancashire in the North West of England, if that helps.
