How do you get that "old" smell out of vintage clothing?
I recently bought a vintage kimono jacket and the old, moth ball, packed away for decades smell makes me sick to my stomache! Is there ANY way to get rid of it? I don't think Febreeze is gonna cut it!
YES.. use downy with the pink lid. fill it all the way up and dump in a small load. shoud work.
Spray massive ammounts of perfume on it… or not.
get it dry cleaned. u can ask the ppl who work there.
Dry clean them, then burn them
Dry cleaning or hand washing, also try airing it outside.
Well if it is silk just wash and hang to dry…..anything else send to the dry-cleaner and live with the smell of perc….lol
febreze it
dry cleaning.
When I purchase something from a thrift store or vintage shop, I hand wash with just a little laundry detergent or bar soap in cold water. In addition for all of my clothes, I keep a Yankee Candle air freshner at the back of my closet.
