I want to open a vintage clothing shop on ebay?

Can I get my stock from charity shops and boot fares?

    Hello MyScars

Yes i think its an idea with potential. Using charity shops as your supply chain may be a little risky as it is an mixed bag and you might not always get the products you want. I would first do a little research and look at the vintage clothing being sold on ebay and what prices they are going for. This will give you an idea of what stock to buy and how much you will get in return for it. The shop fees are not too expensive on ebay and it has massive traffic so you have a better chance of making money than a website. You could set up a website after a while and put a link to it in your ebay shop. On the website you could list a full catalogue and perhaps leave an email where people can leave requests for certain items. Essentially i think your idea is good. Another option you have is facebook which has a requests section where people request certain items and put up a price they will pay. You could use this to shift items for more money than ebay.

    Hello,
Yes, you could, that is a great idea. Also, did you ever think about making your own vintage clothing web-site instead of paying fees with E-bay?
    Good Luck!
