I use to live in TX and sourced probably 3/4 of my inventory from shops there. I can give you a few tips about the main shops but a girls gotta have a few secret locations to stay in business! (*~smile~*)

First off, don’t bother with the Goodwills as they are picked over, the prices aren’t that good for what they’ve got and they usually have WAY too many 1990s Gap, Limited and Old Navy kind of stuff to weed through. Major waste of time.

The salvation army’s are ok. They still get good stuff. Go to the ones off the beaten path for the best selection (off of I20 in Dallas and the other is I believe off of main street in Grand Prairie)

Best bet HANDS DOWN for mainstream thrift stores in DFW is Thrift Town. They’re located in West FW, Dallas, Arlington and North Richland Hills.

Now, If you want vintage but aren’t exactly bowled over about the "thrill of the hunt" you can shop at stores that have already picked it out for you. There are 3 in Dallas: Counter Culture, Buffalo Exchange and Ahab Bowen.

    Good luck Hunting
