Where to find VINTAGE CLOTHING to resell online?
I am trying to start my own online Vintage clothing store. I have a real eye for fashion and I am really good stylist. I love putting things together and making fabulous outfits. I especially love vintage clothing. I am curious as to how the powersellers do it on eBay, have a successful vintage clothing store with always new stuff to put up for auction. I know if I tried to ask any seller how they accumulate their collection of great vintage finds they wouldn't want to expose their secrets because it would be more added competition . Where do I even start to build up a continuous collection of vintage clothing and accessories to resell? Are there any secrets or tips? What do I look for while shopping for finds ?

Well, im not an eBay seller but from what from i see from the sellers at markets…its the same sort of deal.
Firstly, it would be best for you to have a huge range ready for auction…so that your shop has a range of variety for buyers to see. The layout of your eBay shop also probably makes a little bit of a difference as it can draw customers. You should also work really hard to satisfy customers so that you have a perfect 100% rating.
As for finding your items..Op shops and those cheap donation shops are the best to get original and vintage pieces. I go very often to my local one and i always find really simple stuff like bags, belts for $2 that you would normally see for $15-$30. You should probably look for the material/colour in the pieces as you can modify them to suit the fittings that are popular today.
It should also be REALLY easy to sell vintage clothing on eBay because it really has come back into fashion and can sell for more than 5x the original price you paid for (which is probably $5).
